The Polish Football Association previously announced that Lewandowski will no longer serve as the captain of the Polish national team. This decision is made by the coach, and Zelinsky will be the captain next.
Minutes after the announcement was released, former Polish international Camille Grositsky also spoke out about the matter, and he wrote meaningfully on social media: “Historical moment.”
Grositsky just finished the national team’s curtain call last week.
