The Post understands that negotiations are moving in a positive direction and the Danish coach may officially announce his position in the next few days.

Frank’s termination fee is believed to be about £10 million, and people familiar with the matter believe the negotiations are coming to an end and he will be announced to be replaced by Postkoglu, who was dismissed last week.

Frank led Brentford to finish tenth in the Premier League last season, and he maintained a long-term cooperative relationship with Tottenham technical director John Lange.
