1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 10th Desky reporter Florian Plettenberg reported that Frankfurt provided Burcate with a top contract to 2030, and a comprehensive oral agreement was close to being reached.
It is not clear whether and when an agreement will be reached between Frankfurt and Mainz, which valued the transfer at about EUR 20 million, but Mainz’s asking price is even higher.
24-year-old Burcate’s contract with Mainz until June 2027, the player will score 19 goals and 2 assists in 30 games in the 24-25 season, and the Germans will turn around and make a 35 million euros.
