Media person: Renovating the old stadium may be more realistic and ideal, and Tiexi may be a more down-to-earth sample

1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 10th When talking about the construction of the Chinese football stadium, media person Feng Zhen believes that renovating an old football stadium with a good geographical location may be more realistic and ideal.

Feng Zhen wrote on his personal Weibo:

Looking forward to the first official game of Longxing Football Stadium tonight. It was originally a stadium for the Asian Cup and even the World Cup bid, but tonight’s World Cup qualifiers, which have lost their meaning, may be the most important game it will carry for a long time to come. Thinking of this, it’s a pity.

To this day, are infrastructure such as Longxing Stadium, Pike Bay, and Phoenix Mountain considered standard equipment for major Chinese cities? Given the population, it seems that it can be. But do so many cities in China with a population of over a few million need to find a new piece of land to build a stadium that accommodates 5, 60,000, or 70,000 people?

Renovating an old stadium with a good location may be more realistic and ideal. The old ones have Hongkou (how good) and the new ones have Gongshi. The scale of industrial transformation is too large and complex, and it costs billions of dollars, and the project cannot be replicated. The sudden appearance of Shenyang Tiexi Football Stadium may be a more down-to-earth sample of more Chinese cities in stadium renovations.

Why did it say it suddenly appeared? Because I didn’t even hear much of Tiexi changing before, the Liaoning team suddenly moved over.

The transformation effect of Tiexi is appreciated and questioned. In my opinion, Tiexi’s transformation achieved the best results with the lowest cost and the shortest time.

As far as I know, the renovation of Tiexi Stadium is a project jointly invested and constructed by Liaoning Province and Shenyang City. The total investment is more than 100 million yuan, which is indeed not much. The transformation took 3 months, which is indeed short enough. It was not as unchanged as 80,000 people. It canceled the track and expanded the front seats inward, increasing from 28,000 to 40,000. The lighting, audio and practical functions have been upgraded. If Liaoning team advances to the Super League, this home court will be ready-made and will solve the professional home court problems for many years to come.

Tiexi Stadium completed the update and upgrade at a smaller cost, and such upgrades can be said to be more in line with the current socio-economic situation. Sometimes the stadium capacity does not necessarily need to be that large, and we don’t need the stadium to be a storefront. Many centennial clubs in Europe and the United States have only 30,000 to 40,000 stadiums. After the renovation of Tiexi Stadium, 37,589 fans flocked to the first game. The atmosphere was just right, and the old stadium won a freshman. How great it was.

How to say it, for most Chinese cities, Barracuda Bay is good, but Tiexi is more feasible.
