Scaloni: Mastantono joins Real Madrid is a huge improvement, and it is great to play for top teams

1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 10th Argentina national team head coach Scaloni expressed his opinion on the news that the young talent of the Riverbed team Mastantono transferred to Real Madrid. The deal will be the most expensive transfer in Argentina football history.

“If it’s really done, it’s a huge transfer. Real Madrid is a great club, arguably one of the best in the world.” Scaloni said at a press conference before the World Cup qualifiers against Colombia. “It’s a huge improvement, but Mastantono‘s career has just begun. He is only 17 years old now, and we talked to him that as long as he continues to study hard like this and maintains this mentality, he will definitely succeed. We need the people around him, both the club and the national team, to understand that he’s just a 17-year-old. He still has a long way to go, and we need to work together to help him get better.”

It’s Scaloni who let him go Mastantono made his first appearance for the Argentina national team, making him the youngest debut player in the official national team’s game. Scaloni believes this transfer is also a positive signal for the Argentine League: “If the transfer is successful, I’m happy because it means that big clubs are focusing on Argentine football and our excellent players.
