1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 11th According to Manchester City’s official website, Reindez talked about the Premier League in an interview.
It is reported that 26-year-old Reindes has signed a five-year contract with Manchester City and can participate in the FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States this summer. The Dutch international midfielder is also part of Guardiola’s plan to compete for his seventh Premier League title in nine years next season.
In his first interview with Manchester City player, Reindez made it clear that he was very excited to come to the top league in England, and when talking about this, he said: “Everyone knows it’s the biggest game in the world, you can see how many clubs compete for the top few last season, the Premier League is very high, and being able to play in the Premier League is every player’s dream. In Premier League and that intensity, I want to feel that energy. I think you have to think faster here, especially when you play for Manchester City, you will get less space on the court. So I hope to improve in this area, and I’m looking forward to that.”
Reindez has accumulated a lot of experience at the highest level and has played for AC Milan and the Netherlands national team in the past two years. He helped the Dutch national team reach the European Cup semi-final last summer and performed well in Serie A, and he also won the honor of the best midfielder in Serie A in 2024/25.
When talking about this, Reindez said: “It’s a huge honor, especially because we’ve had a tough season and being awarded the best midfielder is a very big honor, and I’m certainly very happy with this award.”
Reindez can play any role in the midfield, whether it’s offense or defense. But he appeared more in the frontcourt last season, scoring 15 goals in 54 games, more than twice as many goals as he scored in any season of his career at AZ Alkmaar and AC Milan.
In response, Reindez said: “As a midfielder, I know goals are important, I didn’t score so many goals in a season two years ago, and I kept trying to improve that summer to see what I need to do in front of the goal to be better, and it worked this season.”
