Yağız Sabuncuoğlu wrote on social media: “Kim Min-jae does not intend to return to Turkey. The South Korean defender hopes to play for a team with potential for the Champions League title. Bayern expects to receive a 7,000 euros fee from his transfer.” In August 2021, Kim Min-jae joined Fenerbahce and transferred to Naples in July of the following year.
