1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 13th News “Boy” reported that Frankfurt was fined 489,100 euros by the German Football Association for misconduct of fans.
The German Football Association Sports Court launched a heavy blow to the Frankfurt Club this time. The club was fined hugely for violations in eight Bundesliga games since January 2025. Frankfurt must pay 489,100 euros due to some fans’ troublemakers losing control.
Specific events involve home matches against Dortmund, Stuttgart and St. Pauli, as well as away matches against Borussia Mönchengladbach, Bochum, Werder Bremen, Augsburg and Mainz 05.
Most of the fines stem from fans’ use of fireworks. In addition, fans’ actions in the away game against Bochum and Mainz were also punished.
In Bochum, the kickoff time was delayed by 50 minutes as extreme fans refused to remove the banner that blocked the emergency exit. In Mainz, the game was interrupted for several minutes due to items being thrown into the court.
The Frankfurt Club has previously accepted a request for punishment from the Disciplinary Committee, and the judgment is therefore legally effective.
