Foreign media: Polish team’s new coach already has a shortlist, Croatian Belica may coach

The Polish national team is looking for a new head coach. The Polish Football Association has received the first batch of candidate information. It is understood that Belicia’s representative has contacted the Football Association.

On Thursday, Probildz announced his resignation from the Polish national team, the 52-year-old coach officially stated that his departure was the best solution for the team.

The Polish Football Association is currently looking for its successor. Football Association Chairman Cesari Kulesha emphasized in an interview with Meczyki that the new coach must be familiar with the Polish football environment, but at the same time, the possibility of a foreign coach is not ruled out.

As the candidate discussion unfolds, the shortlist is mainly composed of local Polish coaches, including Jan Urban and Adam Navauka and others.

It is reported that representatives of Croatian coach Belica have contacted the Polish Football Association, and the 53-year-old coach is open to coaching the Polish national team.

Berica has worked in Poland. He coached Poznan Leh from August 2016 to May 2018. Since then, he has successively held clubs such as Dynamo Zagreb, Osijek, Trabzon Sports, and Berlin United, and coached Dynamo Zagreb for the second time.

Belica was dismissed in Zagreb at the end of last year. He was originally the candidate coach for Legia in Warsaw, but ultimately failed to reach an agreement with the club, who chose Edward Yordanescu.
