
1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 13th The South American Football Federation officially announced that Alejandro Domingos was re-elected as chairman of the South American Football Federation.
At the 81st Congress of the South American Football Federation held in Paraguay, the decision of the current chairman Domingos to continue leading the South American Football Federation was passed. The new term will cover 2026 to 2030 and end at the April 2031 conference.
Domingos delivered a speech, saying, “I promise you again. I feel motivated and passionate and will continue to advance the work we started many years ago, looking forward to the future with great optimism, more joy and passion, because what will be better next.”
“To be a champion, you have to have the best team. Our members of the SAF know that the competition has just begun. We are not competing, but winning the game. It is not a personal project, but a team project. The name does not matter. What matters is to win the highest trophy, let South American football continue its glorious history and show its strength to the world.”
Domingos is 53 years old and has been the chairman of the SAF since 2016.
