Skira revealed that Marin is getting closer to joining Villarreal on loan, and the agreement will include an option to buyout clause. Villarreal has prepared a (1+4) contract for the 23-year-old central defender to 2030.
Marin joined Naples from Real Madrid for a transfer fee of 12 million euros last summer and played only 6 games this season.
