British media: Only when Liverpool continues to win the championship in top events will all of Wiltz float trigger

1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 13 The Times reported that only when Liverpool continues to win the championship in the top competitions will all be activated.

After three weeks of negotiations, Liverpool and Leverkusen reached a record transfer agreement for Wilz at a total price of £116 million, a deal that could set a record-breaking UK transfer fee record demonstrates the ambition of the Premier League champion.

The transfer fee consists of a fixed amount of £100 million and a floating clause of up to £16 million. The Times said that all additional clauses will be activated only when Liverpool continues to win the championship in top events. This will put Wiltz’s total transfer fee on the market expected to surpass the current record of £115 million paid by Chelsea for Kesedo to Brighton in August 2023.
