After three weeks of negotiations, Liverpool and Leverkusen reached a record transfer agreement for Wilz at a total price of £116 million, a deal that could set a record-breaking UK transfer fee record demonstrates the ambition of the Premier League champion.
The transfer fee consists of a fixed amount of £100 million and a floating clause of up to £16 million. The Times said that all additional clauses will be activated only when Liverpool continues to win the championship in top events.
