FA: Congratulations to Beckham on his jazz title and his contribution to English football

1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 14th Beckham was awarded the Jazz Deputy today for his outstanding contributions to sports and philanthropy. FA Chairman Debbie Hewitt congratulated Beckham.

Debbie Hewitt said: “On behalf of the FA England, I would like to congratulate Sir Beckham on his recognition of this Royal Honor and thank him for his important contribution to English football. He played 115 times on behalf of the national team, scored 17 goals and participated in five major competitions. It is the best proof of our former captain’s contribution to the national team.”

“At the club level, he won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups and one Champions League trophy for Manchester United, and then achieved international success in Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.”

“After retirement, Beckham has been actively promoting English football and supporting many charitable causes and is widely respected. He is regarded by many as a treasure of the country.”
