The Scottish coach’s 716 Premier League coaching games were second only to Wenger and Sir Ferguson. Since starting his coaching career from Preston in 1998, Moyes has successively taken charge of Everton (first time), Manchester United, Real Sociedad, Sunderland and West Ham United, and regained the Toffees coaching stick in January this year.
As the coach of the English Football League Coaches Association for the Year three times, Moyes commanded 538 games in two terms at Everton, his first coaching session lasted from March 2002 to June 2013, lasting more than 11 years.
Moyes said: “This is a great honor and is an extraordinary moment for me and my family. My father was awarded the Medal of Junzhao (MBE), and now both generations of our father and son have been awarded, and the whole family is very proud.
“Witnessing the good deeds of other winners has made me humbled, from charity workers to anti-cancer pioneers to drug rehabilitation patriots. It is a great honor to be able to receive honors on the same stage with them. ”
