Reported that this means that Gittens can no longer participate in the Club World Cup for Chelsea, but it is expected that the clubs of both sides will continue to negotiate on Gittens’ transfer this month to strive to reach an agreement on the transfer fee.
Chelsea has agreed with Gittens on a seven-year contract.
