1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 12th The Athletic reported that Ajax is currently leading the loan battle for Liverpool goalkeeper Jaros. The 23-year-old has only made two appearances last season and the Premier League champion has allowed him to leave this summer.
Many European clubs have shown strong interest in loaning Jaros, and related negotiations are underway. Ajax, coached by former Liverpool assistant coach Heatinga, continued to rebuild after the collapse of the final stage of the Eredivisie championship, hoping to introduce the Czech goalkeeper. Heatinga knew Jaros very well during his tenure at Liverpool’s championship season.
Yaros made his debut in the Premier League match against Crystal Palace 1-0 at Liverpool in October last year. He was eager to get a stable chance last season, but eventually stayed on standby as the third goalkeeper.
