1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 12th According to Polish media sports.pl, Lewandowski had a hearing yesterday in a case of accusing agents of blackmail.
The hearing lasted five hours and fifteen minutes, and this was Lewandowski’s first appearance since the initial case began in 2023. In a previous trial, the judge in charge of the case agreed to the request of Lewandowski attorney for a trial not openly.
In September 2020, Lewandowski provided recording evidence of extortion to the former broker and testified with his relatives. He accused former broker Kuharsky of asking him to pay 10-20 million euros on the grounds of “exchange silence” to cover up possible misconduct by the economic company, and Kuharsky argued that he was negotiating an agreement to withdraw from the company at the time.
And during a trial that was first published in May, some of the recordings were disclosed, and the judge has not yet decided whether to use them as valid evidence of the case. June 11 is the first hearing day designated in the case.
Kuharsky was extremely dissatisfied with the proposal, so the hearing was not made public because Lewandowski insisted that the company’s liquidation would only require PORT 100 zlotys to be settled. It is reported that Lewandowski answered hundreds of questions, and all three parties (Kuharsky, the prosecutor and the player lawyer) conducted inquiries.
Kuharsky’s defense lawyer said: “We are very satisfied with the productive questioning. Although we cannot talk about the details, we are very close to the truth.”
Lewand’s attorney said with a mysterious smile: “1-0 in the first half.”
When Lewandow walked out of the court and walked through the media, the camera captured him a little tired but not frustrated. He always kept silent to the reporters, only when he heard “Did you watch (Poland) game?” at the end, he smiled.
Lewandow will be questioned again today and will call other witnesses to appear in court next week, including player’s wife Anna.
