1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 12 Frank is about to become Tottenham head coach, Danish veteran Eriksen talked about his old club in an interview.
Erikson said: “I think he’s a good coach for Tottenham. I’ve worked with Frank at different times and I believe he’s a perfect fit for the job, and it would be great if he could take the challenge. Frank’s personality, the style of the game and the way he’s doing things are very well matched with the club.
“In view of Tottenham’s performance last season, they did win the championship trophy, but the team is still in the process of building, and I believe Frank is the ideal candidate to lead the team forward. ”
Asked if he received an invitation to return to Tottenham, Eriksen said: “No, at least not so far. If anything happens, Frank will call me. ”
Erikson will leave the team freely after his contract with Manchester United expires. He has not yet confirmed his next home.
