1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 13th The new version of the Club World Cup will be unveiled the day after tomorrow. At that time, eight major regulations and technological innovations will be used, including the referee camera and the “Arteta Law”.
This event will introduce new regulations agreed by IFAB in February, as follows:
Five-second countdown
The referee raised his hand and signaled that the goalkeeper must drive the ball, otherwise the opponent will be awarded a corner kick. In the South American Liberators Copa 2/South America Cup Test, there were only two cases of goalkeepers holding the ball for more than 8 seconds.
Captain’s exclusive dialogue rights
The captain is only allowed to negotiate with the referee, and any player who violates the rules will be shown a yellow card.
“Artetta Law”
The coach or substitute accidentally touches the ball before the ball goes out of bounds, and no additional penalties will be added except for the indirect free kick, and will be activated for the first time.
Punishment two hits the new rules
The penalty kick will be punished if the penalty kick is accidentally “touched the ball” (the ball touches his foot or leg) and then the penalty will be ordered to be severely punished, rather than a direct penalty is invalid.
Breakthrough technology application
Centimeter-level semi-automatic offside system
The biggest change will be the use of the latest, artificial intelligence-assisted semi-automatic offside technology, when a player breaks through the defense and touches the ball in an offside situation with an offside of more than four inches (about 10 cm), the signal will be automatically sent to the assistant referee.
Referee Perspective Camera
Rugby fans have become accustomed to the “referee camera” and are installed on the referee’s chest to provide a private perspective on the ball. But the FIFA Council (IFAB) has approved football to use the same method, installing the camera at the height of the referee’s eye and connecting it to the referee’s VAR communication device.
While this screen will not be broadcast live in the game, it will give fans at home and on the court the opportunity to see goals and other events from the referee’s perspective.
Online synchronous video playback screen
Although the dialogue between the referee and VAR can only be broadcast after the game, the fans on the scene will be able to see these screens simultaneously while the referee himself checks the sideline monitor for a review.
Electronic substitution system
There will no longer be a substitution incident. The coaching team directly submits the substitution application through a handheld tablet, saying goodbye to the era when handwritten notes were submitted to the fourth official.
