Q: We see you taking a photo with the Champions League trophy, just like Kobe holding the NBA Championship trophy. Is that a coincidence or a tribute?
Demberle: That was a greeting to my sponsor, this photo was great. I also like to watch basketball and the NBA, and we all know that Kobe is a legend of the sport.
Q: Which athletes are motivating you?
Demberle: I haven’t witnessed the Michael Jordan era, but of course I’ve watched the documentary “The Last Dance”, which is incredible. Think about it, in that era when social media was not yet available, he was able to span several generations and influence to this day. The achievements he and the Bulls have achieved are remarkable. Then, I grew up watching Barcelona, so of course, Messi is still there. To me, he is the greatest player. He is a player who inspired me and he is unique! I feel very happy and proud to be able to play football with him (2017-2021).
