1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 14th round In the 14th round of the Chinese Super League, Qingdao West Coast drew 0-0 with Yunnan Yukun at home. After the game, Qingdao West Coast coach Shao Jiayi attended the press conference.
——Comment on this game
Shao Jiayi: You have also seen that today is a very difficult game. For us, after nearly a month of intervals, the team was also the first game, so we must have been a little uncomfortable, but overall I am still very satisfied, and the coaching staff are also very satisfied. The team has always given the opponent such aggressive confrontation from the first minute to the 90th minute, and overall, our performance will be better. Of course, in the first game after returning from the interval, the team may have to improve on some opportunities and the handling of controlling the ball, but I believe that as the league deepens and continues, we will find this state back! Thank you to the fans who attended today for giving us so much support.
——Comment on the forward performance
Shao Jiayi: Everyone performed very well today, and so was the forward line. Today they create a lot of opportunities, which also illustrates their abilities. Because the league interval is very long, we will definitely have rhythmic unfamiliarity, feeling in front of the goal, and lack of cooperation between everyone. These are all normal and we can understand them. I am still very satisfied with the team’s performance, especially in the first half, we performed better, and in the second half, the opponent made some adjustments. As you can see, the opponent is a team with strong strength, and their foreign aid, including their overall performance, is very good. I think it is very normal for them to have the current results.
——Talking about the signing plan
Shao Jiayi: There are no more ideas for signing now, and we have to discuss it with the club. But overall, we are still very satisfied from last season to now. The players introduced by the team this year have played a very important role, and some young players can grow up quickly, and the old players have also played a role in leading the new with the old. This is what we are very satisfied with!
