Zivo played as a central defender as a player and joined Inter Milan in 2007. After playing for 7 years, he retired. He has played for Inter Milan in a total of 169 games. He has won 1 Champions League championship, 1 Club World Cup championship, 3 Serie A championships, 2 Italian Cup championships and 2 Italian Super Cup championships with the team.
After retiring, Ziwo has served as the head coach of Inter Milan’s youth teams at all levels since 2018. In February 2025, Ziwo went to Parma to serve as the head coach, helping the team successfully relegated.
