1BSPORTS 1B Sports June 15th According to Longo, Milan contacted Leverkusen on Monday or Tuesday to test whether he would release the person and ask for a price.
Milan is largely interested in Zachar because of the new director Tare, who knows the captain of the Swiss national team very well and believes in his leadership and his spirit of self-improvement at the age of 32.
Milan currently has a list of 7 to 8 players for midfield signings, and Zachar’s name is undoubtedly at the forefront. In recent hours, the Ross and Blacks have received positive feedback from Zachar on joining Milan during their continuous communication with the player’s agent team.
Milan admires Zacha very much, and Leverkusen is interested in Milan defender Jaf, who may become a key factor in promoting the deal. Milan can reduce Jaf’s transfer fee a little in exchange for Zacha.
Milan will contact Leverkusen next Monday, or more likely Tuesday, to test whether they are willing to let the person go and ask for a price. The current contract of Zacha is due in 2028.
It is worth noting, however, that Leverkusen has sold Wilz and Flynnon to Liverpool, so it may be more cautious before letting go of another core player.
