Pedro Severino is the son of former Brazilian player Luca Severino. Luca Severino was selected for the Brazilian Olympic team in 2000 and fought side by side with Ronaldinho and Lucio.

Pedro Severino previously played for the Bagantino Red Bull U20 echelon. On March 4, his car he was riding in collided with a truck on the highway.

After the accident, Severino, who had a serious head injury, was rushed to the hospital and underwent neurosurgery at 10:50 a.m. Although the operation was successful, the doctor announced that he was in a state of “brain death” that night.

After three months, his parents confirmed that he had been miraculously discharged from the hospital and returned home.
